The Alliance Française de Bulawayo is situated at n° 61 Heyman Road in the beautiful and historic area of Suburbs. The building is characteristic of the early colonial style so evident in the architecture of Bulawayo. Although located in peaceful surroundings, it is only a five minute drive from the city centre.

Alliance Française de Bulawayo was established in Bulawayo in the late 1940’s, making it the first Alliance Française in the country. While our main mission is to teach the French language and to promote francophone culture in Bulawayo and its surrounding areas, we also offer other languages and support a variety of cultural activities.

Alliance Française is open to the public from 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 12pm on Saturday mornings. It is closed on Sunday and on Zimbabwean public holidays.
